Background: The 2022 mpox outbreak in the United States disproportionately affected gay, bisexual, and other men who have sex with men (GBMSM). Uptake of mpox testing may be related to symptomology, sociodemographic characteristics, and behavioral characteristics.
Objective: This study aimed to describe suspected mpox symptoms and testing uptake among a sample of GBMSM recruited via the internet in the United States in August 2022.

Background: Developmental and epileptic encephalopathies (DEEs) are a group of severe and heterogeneous epilepsies. Most of the affected patients have treatment refractory seizures, intellectual disability (ID), and multiple comorbidities. The condition has a negative impact on quality of life, both for the patients and their families.

The use of personal protective equipment such as gloves and masks and protective measures such as repeated contact of hands with water and skin disinfectants are recommended to prevent the spread of Corona virus disease 2019 (COVID-19). However, these hygiene measures may cause skin injury and skin diseases, including superficial-cutaneous-fungal infections (SCFIs). The aim of this study was to determine the prevalence and comparison of SCFIs before and during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Background: Urinary tract infections are diagnosed by general practitioners based on symptoms, dipstick tests in some and laboratory urine culture. Patients may be given inappropriate antibiotics. Point-of-care tests can diagnose urinary tract infection in near-patient settings quicker than standard culture.

The lateral antebrachial cutaneous nerve (LACN) is the sensory branch of the musculocutaneous nerve and usually innervates the lateral aspect of the forearm. Isolated lesions are rare, of varied aetiology and generally underdiagnosed. We present a retrospective descriptive study of electromyography performed at the General University Hospital of Castellón in the last 20 years with isolated NCAL lesion.
