A seventy-one-year-old woman suffering from angina pectoris had a superdominant left anterior descending artery with a 95% stenosis just after it extended the apex. This superdominant artery was demonstrated angiographically by the findings that it ran in the posterior interventricular sulcus and reached the crux of the heart. Percutaneous transluminal coronary angioplasty for the stenosis beyond the apex was successfully performed. After the procedure, she was relieved from chest pain.

Background: Undiagnosed and untreated atherosclerotic renal artery stenosis (ARAS) can result in end-stage kidney disease (ESKD). To obtain an accurate diagnosis, it is crucial to recognize the symptoms and signs suggesting renal artery stenosis (RAS) and perform appropriate diagnostic and treatment procedures afterward.
Case Presentation: We present a case of a 60-year-old female patient with hypertensive crisis, acute heart failure (HF), and pulmonary edema as the initial signs of acute kidney injury (AKI) caused by right RAS and left renal artery occlusion in the presence of severe aortic atherosclerosis revealed on computed tomography angiography (CTA) of the abdomen.

During the initial stage of ischaemia, the electrical activity of the heart is disrupted, increasing the risk of malignant arrhythmias. The aim of this study is to understand the differential behaviour of the ECG during occlusion of both the left anterior descending (LAD) and right anterior coronary artery (RCA), respectively, using spatio-temporal quantifiers from information theory.
