The recent clinical and experimental research innovations in Andrology make possible the following classification of impotence: "Failure to initiate" "Failure to store" "Failure to fill" The last aspect, including veno-occlusive dysfunction, is continuously reevaluated by andrologic studies. The main diagnostic procedure of this complex problem, in constant evolution, is represented by cavernometry. Recently, but with full success, we are utilizing direct radioisotopic penogram in video sexy stimulation: in preselection function but probably in future with substitutive function of the more invasive and traditional cavernometry. In spite of this methodologic progress the findings of cavernometry are in continuous discussion as in tumultuous evolution, in anatomo-physiological environment, is the intracavernous district that, for many aspects, necessity of ulterior histochemical, pharmacodynamic and neurophysiological acknowledgements.

Objective: To investigate the application value of RigiScan monitoring in assisting tadalafil medication.
Methods: This self-control study included 89 ED patients (IIEF-5 < 21) treated in our hospital from August 2019 to July 2020. The patients underwent audiovisual sexual stimulation (AVSS), nocturnal penile tumescence and rigidity (NPTR) test, scoring on the Patient Health Questionnaire-9 (PHQ-9) and Generalized Anxiety Disorder 7-Item Scale (GAD-7), blood routine test, blood biochemical analysis, and hormone secretion examination, which confirmed 21 cases of psychogenic, 28 cases of organic and 40 cases of mixed ED.

Background: Structural alterations of the penis, including cavernosal apoptosis and fibrosis, induce venous leakage into the corpus cavernosum or cavernosal veno-occlusive dysfunction, a key pathophysiology associated with erectile dysfunction after radical prostatectomy. We hypothesized that the effect of JNK inhibitors on reducing apoptosis and hepatocyte growth factor (HGF) on inducing tissue regeneration could be another treatment mechanism of erectile dysfunction after radical prostatectomy.
