Uncontrollable haemorrhage and associated microbial contamination in the battlefield and civilian injuries pose a tremendous threat to healthcare professionals. Such traumatic wounds often necessitate an effective point-of-care solution to prevent the consequent morbidity owing to blood loss or haemorrhage. However, developing superior hemostatic materials with anti-infective properties remains a challenge.

Vasovagal syncope (VVS) in donors is a transient loss of consciousness due to short-term global cerebral hypoperfusion, which has a rapid onset and has complete spontaneous recovery. Objectives: The aim of this study was to establish an ultra-performance liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry (UPLC-MS/MS) method for the detection of osimertinib in rat plasma, lung and brain tissues.
Methods: Forty-eight rats were randomly divided into an experimental group (receiving osimertinib at doses of 5, 8, and 10 mg/kg) and a control group. After continuous intragastric administration for 15 days, samples of blood, lung, and brain tissue were collected.

Background: Pheochromocytoma is a rare neuroendocrine tumor, and bilateral pheochromocytomas is even less common. Due to the limited experience with such cases, this study aims to explore the optimal surgical strategy, assess the potential advantages of robotic surgery, and evaluate surgical outcomes for managing bilateral pheochromocytomas.
Case Description: This report presented a case of a 33-year-old woman with bilateral pheochromocytomas related to multiple endocrine neoplasia type 2a (MEN2A), who was successfully managed by synchronous transperitoneal robotic-assisted bilateral cortical-sparing adrenalectomy.
