Introduction: Obstructive sleep apnoea (OSA) in children is associated with numerous adverse outcomes, including elevated blood pressure. While the associations between OSA, obesity, and autonomic dysfunction are recognised, the precise mechanisms linking these factors and their relationship with elevated blood pressure in children remain unclear.

The disorder negatively influences their academic performance and social relations, and their quality of life (QoL) is lower than that of peers without ADHD. Objectives And Methods: This study aimed to investigate whether a four-month skateboarding workshop can positively affect attention-focusing skills and postural control in terms of static and dynamic balance in addition to symptoms of ADHD in school-aged children ( = 58). Kinematic and kinetic movement analysis, attention-focusing tests as well as symptom questionnaires were employed to measure differences caused by the skateboarding intervention. A weekly skateboarding workshop was conducted with children diagnosed with ADHD which intended to encourage children to autonomously engage in physical activity.

Modern psychopathology classification systems position attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) with different groups of conditions, either with externalizing or neurodevelopmental. As such, the optimal placement of ADHD in modern classification systems remains unclear. We advanced the literature by mapping ADHD symptoms onto three transdiagnostic psychopathology spectra-externalizing, neurodevelopmental, and internalizing-and their symptoms.
