The hereditary and environmental influences on the genius of Kafka's personality are discussed. His exterior, somatic constitution is represented by photos taken during his lifetime as well as some posthumous, imaginary portraits and sculptures by various, mostly Prague, artists. The concept of the artist's psychic formation - his mental makeup - is documented from his diary, dreams, letters, literary work and reports by his friends. The whole proves his introversion, ambivalence, hypersensitivity, obstinancy, anxieties, behavioral anomalies, a life rich in fantasies and his underestimation of his own literary work. (He speaks about it as an idiosyncrasy, wishing it to be burned after his death.) Some little-known drawings by Kafka complement the picture of his talents and creativity. The psychological and psychopathological roots of his extraordinary position in the cultural awareness of his epoch are discussed.

Since the "Black Lives Matter" reckoning of 2020, professional health organizations have made public statements and apologized for not recognizing the role of racism in the creation of health disparities. For the American Nurses Association, this has taken the form of the National Commission to Address Racism in Nursing One result of that work has been the Report on the History of Racism in Nursing, which details the constant maligning of the competence of Black nurses and their systematic exclusion from institutions within the profession. In this article, we want to take these ideas further and argue that the issue for nursing is not so much a generic kind of racism that a professional reorganization can address, but rather a deep and abiding "anti-blackness" that is intrinsic to the heart and soul of medical and health knowledge itself.

My paper analyses Ali Smith's innovative use of queering as a narrative strategy in (2007) and (2008), focusing on her transformation of narrative structures, epistemic realities, and identity through intertextual engagement. Alterations in the prostate cancer (PCa) N-glycome have gained attention as a potential biomarker. This comprehensive review explores the diversity of N-glycosylation patterns observed in PCa-related cell lines, tissue, serum and urine, focusing on prostate-specific antigen (PSA) and the total pool of glycoproteins. Within the context of PCa, altered N-glycosylation patterns are a mechanism of immune escape and a disruption in normal glycoprotein distribution and trafficking.
