Two cases of Destombes Rosai Dorfman's syndrome are presented. Diagnosis was performed by superficial lymph node biopsy. The first case concerned a nine and half years old girl with cervical adenopathy who developed a compressive mediastinal adenopathy responsible for a right lower lobe atelectasis. Because of local lung suppuration a lobectomy had to be performed. The second case concerned a fourteen years old boy with recurrent fever, diffuse superficial lymph nodes and erythematous skin rash. The two patients showed clinical and biological inflammatory symptoms without any immunodeficiency. No aetiological agent could be identified. Antibiotics and corticoids had no effect but the two patients recovered (after 18 months follow up in case 2). These two particular cases confirm the clinical course heterogeneicity of the syndrome which requires histological diagnosis.

This study aimed to evaluate the capacity of infrared thermography (IRT) to be used for the in situ clinical assessment of udder health status across lactation in goats. Two epidemiological studies were designed, with 106 purebred Skopelos goats being prospectively monitored over one lactation in the first study and 132 goats of the same breed from a second farm being enrolled in the second, cross-sectional study. Goats were categorized based on the clinical status of each udder half (healthy, fibrotic, both fibrotic and asymmetric, asymmetric, swollen supra-mammary lymph nodes, and abscessed).

Background: Interpectoral and pectoserratus plane blocks are fascial plane blocks that are used during anterolateral superficial chest wall surgery. However, the true analgesic efficacy of these blocks in oncological breast surgery is unclear because of the diversity of breast-surgery procedures. The primary hypothesis of this study was that these blocks reduce the incidence of acute pain.

Head and neck cancer (HNC) frequently presents in the advanced stage, which necessitates treatments such as chemoradiotherapy and pharyngolaryngoesophagectomy. These treatments can impair functions including swallowing, speech, and saliva production, and diminish the quality of life (QOL). Key risk factors for HNC include alcohol consumption, smoking, and genetic polymorphisms in aldehyde dehydrogenase 2, which increase the susceptibility to carcinogenesis through the 'field cancerization phenomenon.

Ectopic breast cancer (EBC) is a rare condition, and there have been no reports of axillary EBC as a third primary breast cancer after bilateral pectoral breast cancer (PBC) surgery. A woman presented with a mass in her axilla, which was located just beneath the skin. On ultrasound (US) examination, it appeared oval-shaped with uniform internal echoes and relatively clear boundaries.

Introduction: Retroperitoneal lymph node dissection (RPLND) is a procedure of significant therapeutic and diagnostic value in the management of testicular cancer. This study aimed to conduct a contemporary review of surgical outcomes following RPLND procedures performed in North America over the last decade.
Methods: We queried the National Surgical Quality Improvement Program (NSQIP) database from 2012-2022 (n=9 857 040) to identify patients who underwent RPLND and were diagnosed with testicular cancer.
