Corticosteroids have multiple effects as adjuvant drugs in pain management. Their pharmacologic characteristics will be described. Studies documenting the efficacy of corticosteroids for different pain syndromes and other cancer-related symptoms will be reviewed. Practical guidelines will be given and directions for future research suggested.

Purpose: To present the case of a young patient with BRAF V600E-mutant cutaneous melanoma who developed bilateral choroidal metastases complicated by neovascular glaucoma (NVG) in both eyes following the interruption of nivolumab therapy.
Methods: A 28-year-old female with primary cutaneous melanoma of the left hand underwent surgical resection and adjuvant nivolumab. Immunotherapy was discontinued due to immune-related acute interstitial nephritis.

Pemphigus is an autoimmune blistering disorder characterized by the presence of intraepidermal blisters and erosions, primarily affecting the mucosa and/or skin. There are no established Indian guidelines for the management of pemphigus, and Western guidelines cannot be directly applied due to differences in clinicodemographic profiles, comorbidities, and resource limitations. Introduction: Graft-versus-host disease is a serious complication after hematopoietic stem cell transplantation and is a major cause of death post-transplantation. Approximately 50% of acute graft-versus-host disease patients do not respond to systemic steroids and their prognosis is poor regardless of the treatment. This study describes our experience with pediatric patients diagnosed with steroid-refractory graft-versus-host disease who received intra-mesenteric steroid treatment.
