To remedy the loss of the rectal reservoir after resection of the rectum and colo-anal anastomosis, Lazorthes et al. and Parc et al. have proposed adding a J-shaped colic reservoir. The video describes the procedure performed entirely with mechanical sutures. The postoperative and functional results are briefly described.

Objective: Inferior pole patellar fractures (IPPFs) pose a significant challenge due to their complex fracture patterns and high risk of complications associated with current treatment methods. This study aims to (1) characterize the fracture patterns of IPPFs using fracture mapping and (2) compare the biomechanical stability and clinical outcomes of treatment with anchor suture with patellar cerclage versus Kirschner-wire tension band combined with patellar cerclage.
Methods: (1) A retrospective analysis was conducted on 61 patients with IPPF.

Objectives: This study aims to analyze the biomechanics of three kinds of rigid internal fixation methods for condylar head fractures.
Methods: A three dimensional finite element model of the normal mandible was constructed. It was then used to prepare condylar head fracture finite element model and three kinds of rigid internal fixation finite element model (unilateral tension screw, bilateral tension screw, tension screw+titanium plate).

A method is proposed for 3D printing and enhancing the surface bioactivity of zirconia ceramic anchor screws, specifically tailored for temporomandibular joint disc reduction surgery. Initially, the challenge posed by the brittleness and processing difficulties of fine ceramic anchor screws was addressed through the application of SLA-3D printing technology. This allowed for an exploration of the forming accuracy and biomechanical properties of the printed anchor screws.

Backgroud: Intervertebral disc degeneration (IDD) is one of the common degenerative diseases. Due to ethical constraints, it is difficult to obtain sufficient research on humans, so the use of an animal model of IDD is very important to clarify the pathogenesis and treatment mechanism of the disease.
Methods: In this study, thirty 2-month-old mice were selected for operation to establish a coccygeal IDD model.
