Unlabelled: Brain morphology understanding is essential for radiologists, neurologists, and neurosurgeons. Historically, anatomical learning of brain relied on ex vivo specimens. Modern in vivo brain CT and MRI provide spatial, three-dimensional imaging capabilities crucial to help diagnose diseases, plan surgeries, and monitor treatment progress.

Objective: The 2017 McDonald criteria continued the separation of diagnostic criteria for relapsing-remitting multiple sclerosis (RRMS) and primary progressive MS (PPMS) for historical, rather than biological, reasons. We aimed to explore the feasibility of a single, unified set of diagnostic criteria when applied to patients with suspected PPMS.
Methods: We retrospectively identified patients evaluated for suspected PPMS at 5 European centers.

Background: Our aim is to investigate the association of treatment with survival in patients with diffuse intrinsic pontine glioma (DIPG) by examining 6 historical treatment paths.
Methods: We retrospectively analyzed data from 409 patients with radiologically centrally reviewed DIPG, sourced from the German Society of Pediatric Oncology and Hematology HIT-HGG trial database and the SIOPE-DIPG/DMG Registry. Survival outcomes were estimated using the Kaplan-Meier method, and univariable and multivariable Cox proportional hazard models were estimated to study treatment effects.

Background: Older patients (aged ≥65 years) with glioblastoma have a worse prognosis than younger patients and a median overall survival of 6-9 months. 3,4-Dihydroxy-6-[F]fluoro-L-phenylalanine (F-DOPA) PET sensitively and specifically identifies metabolically active glioblastoma for preferential targeting. Proton beam therapy potentially improves quality of life (QOL) by sparing more healthy brain tissue than photon radiotherapy.
