This case report depicts two patients with morbid obesity who presented to the ED with signs and symptoms of community-acquired pneumonia and were treated accordingly. Despite empiric antibiotic therapy, their symptoms did not subside, prompting further evaluation, which revealed pulmonary blastomycosis.
