Introduction: The number of patients with inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) in Japan has continued to increase, leading to diverse and complex patient backgrounds. Despite these challenges, the education of IBD nurse specialists has not kept pace with the evolving circumstances. Background: Pelvic venous disorders (PeVD), previously "Pelvic congestion syndrome (PCS)" is usually defined as a female health problem. However, it is our impression that gynaecologists rarely recognise this condition, and most of the research interest appears to be by vascular and venous surgeons, and radiologists. Background: While two-thirds of the 57 million people with dementia worldwide live in low- and middle-income countries, research to inform dementia-related policy in these regions remains scarce. We aimed to increase early dementia diagnosis and the use of standardized cognitive assessment by PCP in primary care settings in Cuba METHOD: We selected 16 Primary care clinics, with an estimated 160-200 providers. Clinics were carefully paired based on a number of providers, population demographics, and baseline rates of cognitive impairment diagnosis before being randomized into two groups: one to receive a targeted intervention and the other to continue with usual care practices.
