MR imaging provides an excellent morphologic depiction of normal and abnormal adrenal glands. Although CT scanning remains the primary imaging technique for detecting adrenal lesions, MR imaging is being used increasingly for characterization of adrenal masses. Chemical shift imaging is the most recent MR technique to be evaluated for distinguishing benign from malignant masses, and it appears to be the most reliable; however, further validation of this technique is necessary. In most clinical situations, adrenal lesions thought to be malignant on the basis of MR criteria should still be biopsied. MR imaging is also a useful problem-solving technique after equivocal CT scanning or sonography.

Background And Objectives: Neuroblastoma, the most common extracranial solid tumor in children, is rare in adults. This study compares patient characteristics, disease patterns, and treatments among adults, adolescents, and children with neuroblastoma.
Methods: We queried the National Cancer Database (2004-2019) for neuroblastoma cases.

Dehydroepiandrosterone (DHEA), a steroid hormone produced by the adrenal glands, plays a key role in various physiological processes, including bone health. Its age-related decline is linked to reduced bone density, though the mechanisms by which DHEA affects bone metabolism remain complex. This review summarises the diverse effects of DHEA on bone metabolism and density, highlighting its therapeutic potential; Methods: A literature search on the effects of DHEA on bone-related parameters was conducted from PubMed and Scopus using a specific search string, and after removing duplicates and irrelevant articles, 36 relevant full-text studies were included; Results: DHEA promotes osteoblast differentiation and proliferation, regulates the RANKL/OPG ratio, and inhibits osteoclastogenesis and bone resorption.

Cytochrome P450 17A1 (CYP17A1) catalyzes two enzymatic reactions in the biosynthesis of dehydroepiandrosterone (DHEA) from pregnenolone. In pregnant humans, the adrenal gland is responsible for DHEA biosynthesis, which is then sulfated by SULT2A1 and released into the bloodstream. This sulfated DHEA is subsequently taken up by the placenta and deconjugated to serve as a precursor for estrogen biosynthesis.

Purpose: This study aimed to assess the biodistribution and radiation dosimetry of 68Ga-DATA5m LM4 in patients with gastroenteropancreatic neuroendocrine tumors.
Patients And Methods: Eight patients (5 females and 3 males) with various gastroenteropancreatic neuroendocrine tumors were included in the study. Each patient underwent 3 whole-body PET scans at 10, 60, and 120 minutes after receiving an IV injection of approximately 162.
