Two studies further investigated the psychometric properties of the self-report Psychological Mindedness Scale (PMS), which has been shown to have good internal consistency and evidence of predictive and divergent validity. Its construct validity was investigated by assessing (1) whether total scores on the PMS of a group of medical students attending a personnel clinic in a psychiatric outpatient setting would be related in theoretically expected ways to their scores on a personality test; and (2) whether total scores on the PMS of a group of regular clinic patients would have the expected theoretical relationships to scores on a measure of ego functions. The findings of both studies provided support for the construct validity of the PMS.

Introduction: Pre-implantation testing (PGT) is often suggested by healthcare professionals (HCP) to parents of children with congenital adrenal hyperplasia (CAH) considering subsequent children. Despite this, some families choose to conceive naturally without genetic testing and intervention. The aims of this study were to explore fertility choices of couples with a child with CAH and the decision making process and perceptions behind these choices, and to explore the families' lived experiences with CAH and the couples' subsequent fertility journey.

Maternal mind-mindedness refers to a caregiver's tendency to respond to their infants as individuals with their own thoughts, feelings, desires, and beliefs. Although previous studies have focused on maternal speech in quantifying mind-mindedness, maternal mind-mindedness should manifest not only as mind-related comments but also through non-verbal behaviors during infant-mother interactions. In this study, we investigated the relationship between maternal gaze at the infant's face and typical verbal measurement of mind-mindedness in free-flowing interactions.

The main objective of this paper is to develop a scale that can facilitate a comprehensive assessment of intellectual virtues. To our knowledge, no instrument has been designed to assess virtuous intellectual character as a global construct, and this article aimed to fill this research gap through two studies. The first study aimed to investigate the construct validity and reliability of the scale, while the second study aimed to confirm the factorial structure observed in Study 1 and to analyze the convergent validity of the new scale.
