We retrospectively analyzed a large international cohort of 1113 patients with aplastic anemia to evaluate treatment choice and outcome in elderly patients as compared with a younger population. Overall, 319 (29%) patients were > 60 years old at diagnosis (60-64 years (n = 85), 106 65-69 years (n = 106), and 128 > 70 years (n = 128)). Purpose: To report a case of bilateral choroidal osteoma successfully treated with subscleral sclerectomy for secondary serous retinal detachment (SRD).
Observations: A 52-year-old Japanese woman first diagnosed with Vogt-Koyanagi-Harada disease and treated with steroids for 9 years was referred to our clinic. SRD in both eyes recurred frequently and was uncontrolled with adalimumab subcutaneous injections and oral cyclosporine, in addition to steroids.

Introduction: Neutrophil gelatinase-associated lipocalin (NGAL) is believed to be involved in the pathogenesis of psoriasis, and its serum level was previously found to decline after administration of biologics, UV, and cyclosporine therapy.
Aim: To investigate whether NGAL may serve as a biomarker of disease activity in psoriasis vulgaris.
Material And Methods: To measure the level of NGAL in serum, 36 patients with psoriasis vulgaris and 33 healthy controls were enrolled.
