Introduction: Arjunolic acid, a well-known natural product with various medicinal properties, was isolated from the heartwood of Terminalia arjuna. Various amides of arjunolic acid were synthesized using different aryl and cyclic amines, characterized, and evaluated for their anti-cancer activities at the National Cancer Institute (NCI).
Method: All the derivatives were active against all the cell lines of NCI compared to the parent molecule arjunolic acid.

The sine oculis homeobox homolog (SIX) family, a group of transcription factors characterized by a conserved DNA-binding homology domain, plays a critical role in orchestrating embryonic development and organogenesis across various organisms, including humans. Comprising six distinct members, from to , each member contributes uniquely to the development and differentiation of diverse tissues and organs, underscoring the versatility of the SIX family. Dysregulation or mutations in genes have been implicated in a spectrum of developmental disorders, as well as in tumor initiation and progression, highlighting their pivotal role in maintaining normal developmental trajectories and cellular functions.

Familial adenomatous polyposis (FAP) is an autosomal dominant hereditary disease characterized by the progressive development of multiple adenomatous polyps along the colon. The majority of individuals develop colorectal cancer by the age of 40 within the evolutionary course of the disease. For this reason, screening family members is essential to enable identification, surveillance, and appropriate intervention.

Background: Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) and colorectal cancer (CRC) pose a significant threat to human health worldwide, characterized by intricate pathogenesis. A PC-esterase domain containing 1A (PCED1A) is a critical number of the GDSL/SGNH superfamily.
Aim: The aim of this study is to explore the diagnostic value of PCED1A in HCC and CRC and its relationship with immune infiltration.

CRC (Colorectal cancer) ranks among the most prevalent tumors in humans and remains a leading cause of cancer-related mortality worldwide. Numerous studies have highlighted the connection between inflammasome over-activation and the initiation and progression of CRC. The activation of the NLRP3 (NOD-like receptor family, pyrin domain containing 3) inflammasome is dependent on the nuclear NF-kβ (Nuclear Factor kappa-light-chain-enhancer of activated B cells) pathway, leading to the maturation and release of inflammatory cytokines such as IL-1ß (Interleukin 1 beta) and IL-18 (Interleukin 18).
