Subcutaneous fat necrosis is seen in 2% of patients with pancreatic disorders and may predate clinical symptoms by up to 3 weeks. Furthermore, 2% of cases of acute pancreatitis are clinically silent. Therefore, the differential diagnosis is extensive and the definitive diagnosis is evasive. The treatment of prolonged hyperamylasaemia and hyperlipasaemia is challenging and still experimental. Further studies are required to introduce effective treatment protocols.

Pancreatic panniculitis (PP) and arthritis may be extrapancreatic manifestations of pancreatic disease. The triad of pancreatic disease, panniculitis and polyarthritis, described in the literature as the PPP syndrome, is sometimes observed in patients with acute or chronic pancreatitis, pancreatic cancer or neuroendocrine tumors (NETs). We present a 60-year-old man with polyarthritis and clinically aggressive PP of the limbs.

Methotrexate (MTX), an antimetabolite targeting certain autoimmune conditions and various hematologic malignancies, has been associated with iatrogenic lymphoproliferative disease (LPD) primarily of B-cell lineage. Less commonly are T-cell neoplasms where primary skin involvement is considered rare. Three cases were encountered in the medical practice of one of the authors.

: Anti PD1/PD-L1 agents, including pembrolizumab, have revolutionized the oncological treatment of different types of cancer, including non-small cell lung cancer. The most frequent complications associated with this type of treatment are mild and are located at the thyroid, pulmonary or hepatic level. Sarcoid like reaction and mesenteric panniculitis secondary to pembrolizumab treatment are two very rare adverse effects.
