Background: Interest in noninvasive treatment of basal cell carcinoma (BCC) has been increasing. For superficial BCC, it has been demonstrated that imiquimod cream, 5%, has high long-term efficacy, but for nodular BCC (nBCC), long-term evidence is sparse.
Objectives: To evaluate whether superficial curettage (SC) followed by imiquimod cream, 5%, is noninferior to surgical excision (SE) in nBCC after 5 years of treatment.

Alpha-fetoprotein (AFP) level and its changes in chronic hepatitis B (CHB) may influence the risk of future hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). This study aims to evaluate the HCC risk in CHB patients with no overt HCC but with elevated AFP level and to explore the prognostic role of longitudinal changes in AFP and liver-related laboratory values. This multicentre cohort study included 10,639 CHB patients without a history of HCC from seven medical facilities in South Korea.

Objective: Endometrial carcinomas with mismatch repair deficiency (MMRd) and no specific molecular profile (NSMP) are considered to have intermediate prognoses. However, potential prognostic differences between these molecular subgroups remain unclear due to the lack of standardized control for clinicopathologic factors. This study aims to evaluate outcomes of MMRd and NSMP endometrial carcinomas across guideline-based clinicopathologic risk groups.

Background: Different doses of radiotherapy (RT) exert diverse effects on tumor immunity, although the precise irradiation method remains unknown. This study sought to elucidate the influence of combining different doses of RT with immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICIs) on the infiltration of CD8T cells within tumors, thereby augmenting the anti-tumor response.
Methods: Constructing a mouse model featuring bilateral lung cancer tumors subjected to high and low dose irradiation, the analysis of RNA transcriptome sequencing data and immunohistochemical validation for tumors exposed to various dosages guided the selection of the optimal low-dose irradiation scheme.
