Deoxyribonucleosides H-bonded pairs were investigated using fast atom bombardment mass spectrometry and MNDO/H quantum chemistry method. It was shown that "rare" (enol or imin) forms of the nitrogen bases could form pairs with energy comparable with "canonical" base pair energy. It was shown that pair stability rows, which are measured using different experimental techniques, were in conformity each with other.

Background: Deficiency of 17β-hydroxysteroid dehydrogenase type 3 (HSD17B3) is a rare variant of 46,XY disorders of sex development (DSD).
Aim: To give clinical, hormonal and molecular genetic characteristics of cases of 46,XY DSD associated with variants in the HSD17B3 gene.
Materials And Methods: The study included 310 patients with 46,XY DSD for the period from 2015 to 2019.

Heavy metals like lead, mercury, cadmium, and arsenic are environmental pollutants that accumulate in ecosystems and pose significant health risks to humans and wildlife, primarily through food chain contamination where plants absorb heavy metals, affecting their growth and threatening consumer health. Cognitive and cardiovascular functions are particularly affected by exposure to heavy metals even at low concentrations through the induction of oxidative stress. Various analytical techniques are used in measuring heavy metals in different environmental and biological samples.

: Although donepezil, a reversible acetylcholinesterase inhibitor, has been in use since 1996, its metabolic characteristics remain poorly characterized. Therefore, this study aims to investigate the in vivo metabolism of donepezil using liquid chromatography-high-resolution mass spectrometry (LC-HRMS) based on a molecular networking (MN) approach integrated with a non-targeted metabolomics approach. : After the oral administration of donepezil (30 mg/kg) in rats, urine, feces, and liver samples were collected for LC-HRMS analysis.

The signature of human serum IgG glycosylation is critical in the defense against pathogens. Alterations of IgG N-glycome were associated with COVID-19 (Coronavirus disease 2019) severity, although knowledge on the response to vaccination is limited. IgG N-glycome was analyzed in this study in post-COVID-19 and post-vaccination patients to reveal potential glycosylation-based alterations using hydrophilic interaction liquid chromatography (HILIC-UPLC) with fluorescence (FLR) and mass-spectrometric (MS) detection.
