This report describes a case of osteomyelitis in a 62-year-old female with various pre-existing health conditions. The patient initially presented with swelling, pain, and difficulty walking in the right lower extremity, accompanied by systemic symptoms.

Introduction: Pretibial lacerations resulting from trauma may evolve into chronic wounds with worsening infections without treatment. There is a limited amount of literature on the presentation and treatment of recalcitrant pretibial ulcerations.
Objective: This study aims to provide a review of surgical treatment methodology that successfully managed recalcitrant pretibial ulcerations.

Purpose: Report of a successful case of endovascular recanalization of an occluded superficial femoral artery (SFA) using Fiber Optic RealShape (FORS) technology.
Case Report: A 79-year-old male was referred for evaluation of multiple ischemic pretibial ulcers of the right lower extremity. Computed tomography-angiography (CTA) imaging confirmed significant stenosis of the right common femoral artery (CFA) and an occlusion of the SFA from its origin to the Hunter's canal.
