Published: September 1995

Drugs klimen and klimonorm containing an estrogen component (2 mg estradiol valerate) and different types of progesterones (1 mg cyproterone acetate, klimen, or 0.15 mg levonorgestrel, klimonorm) were used for 6 months in 66 patients suffering from the climacteric disorders of the perimenopause. The drugs were well tolerated by the patients and proved to be highly effective. The majority of patients (88.6 and 88%) had menses-like withdrawal bleedings.
