In human T lymphocytes immunoblotting analysis of phosphoinositidase C (PIC) isoforms has shown that gamma 1 is the most represented isoform both at the cytoplasmic and nuclear level, and that interferon beta produces, within 90 min of treatment, an increase of its expression. These results, also supported by immunoelectronmicroscopic investigation, strongly suggest the involvement of PIC gamma 1 in the cascade of molecular events generated by the interaction between interferon and its cell surface receptors.

() exhibits aberrant changes in patients with colitis, and it has been reported to dominate the colonic mucosal immune response. Here, we found that PMA1 expression was significantly increased in from patients with IBD compared to that in healthy controls. A Crispr-Cas9-based fungal strain editing system was then used to knock out PMA1 expression in .

Purpose: To improve the oral absorption of relugolix (RLGL), which has low oral bioavailability due to its low solubility and being a substrate of P-glycoprotein (P-gp). A solid self-microemulsifying drug delivery system of relugolix (RLGL-S-SMEDDS) was prepared and evaluated in vitro and in vivo.

Methods: The composition of the solid self-microemulsifying drug delivery system (S-SMEDDS) was selected by solubility study and pseudo-ternary phase diagram, and further optimized by Design-Expert optimization design.

Introduction: Chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) expressing T-cells have shown great promise for the future of cancer immunotherapy with the recent clinical successes achieved in treating different hematologic cancers. Despite these early successes, several challenges remain in the field that require to be solved for the therapy to be more efficacious. One such challenge is the lack of long-term persistence of CD28 based CAR T-cells in patients.

Background: Sepsis is a life-threatening condition caused by severe infection. The efficacy of intravenous immunoglobulin (IVIG) as adjunctive therapy on mortality remains controversial. Moreover, IVIG may favorably affect sepsis-induced immunosuppression like persistent inflammation, immunosuppression, and catabolism syndrome (PICS).

Background: This study aimed to assess the distribution of bacteremia pathogens in elderly patients, examine the impact of gender on pathogen distribution, and evaluate the predictive value of routine blood parameters for diagnosing bacteremia.

Methods: A retrospective analysis was conducted on 151 elderly patients (≥60 years old) admitted to Fuding Hospital, Fujian University of Traditional Chinese Medicine between October 2022 and June 2023. Comprehensive routine blood tests and blood cultures were performed.
