Background: Artificial intelligence (AI) has become widely applied across many fields, including medical education. Content validation and its answers are based on training datasets and the optimization of each model. The accuracy of large language model (LLMs) in basic medical examinations and factors related to their accuracy have also been explored.

Incidence of adverse outcome events rises as patients with advanced illness approach end-of-life. Exposures that tend to occur near end-of-life, for example, use of wheelchair, oxygen therapy and palliative care, may therefore be found associated with the incidence of the adverse outcomes. We propose a concept of reverse time-to-death (rTTD) and its use for the time-scale in time-to-event analysis based on partial likelihood to mitigate the time-varying confounding.

Introduction: The Stigma Assessment and Reduction of Impact (SARI) Stigma Scale is an instrument developed to evaluate stigma in Leprosy patients. Despite existing versions in Indonesian, the absence of an endemic area language version of a reliable assessment tool presents a barrier to effective interventions in regions like Ambon. This study aims to evaluate the validity and reliability of the Ambonese-Malay Language of SARI Stigma Scale questionnaire.

Background: The prevalence of knee osteoarthritis in Southeast Asia has increased steadily over the years. When conservative management options fail, total knee arthroplasty (TKA) is a reliable surgical option. Despite over 90% post-operative satisfaction, the high volume of TKAs performed means that even a small percentage of dissatisfied patients holds significance.

The resulting demographic trade-offs constrain the range of viable life-history strategies and are hypothesized to promote local coexistence. Tropical forests pose ideal systems to study demographic trade-offs as they have a high diversity of coexisting tree species whose life-history strategies tend to align along two orthogonal axes of variation: a growth-survival trade-off that separates species with fast growth from species with high survival and a stature-recruitment trade-off that separates species that achieve large stature from species with high recruitment.
