Introduction The role of the condylar position in the correct functioning of the stomatognathic system has been the center of the study. Using cone-beam computed tomography (CBCT), this study looked at the three-dimensional (3D) position of the condylar bone in patients from Class I, Class II, Division 1, and Division 2. Materials and methods This cross-sectional, retrospective study was conducted using 102 CBCT records, with 34 records allocated to each category of malocclusion classification, such as dentoskeletal Class I, skeletal Class II, and dental Class II, Division 1 and 2.

Purpose: Radionuclide-labeled fibroblast activation protein inhibitor (FAPI) is an emerging tumor tracer. We sought to assess the uptake and diagnostic performance of F-FAPI-42 PET/CT compared with simultaneous 2-deoxy-2[F]fluoro-D-glucose (F-FDG) PET/CT in primary and metastatic lesions in patients with malignant digestive system neoplasms and to determine the potential clinical benefit.
Procedures: Forty-two patients (men = 30, women = 12, mean age = 56.

Purpose: Optimizing fracture reduction quality is key to achieve successful osteosynthesis, especially for epimetaphyseal regions such as the proximal humerus (PH), but can be challenging, partly due to the lack of a clear endpoint. We aimed to develop the prototype for a novel intraoperative C-arm-based aid to facilitate true anatomical reduction of fractures of the PH.
Methods: The proposed method designates the reduced endpoint position of fragments by superimposing the outer boundary of the premorbid bone shape on intraoperative C-arm images, taking the mirrored intact contralateral PH from the preoperative CT scan as a surrogate.

Purpose: There is a growing interest in using computed tomography (CT) scans to opportunistically assess bone mineral density via Hounsfield units (HU). Previous studies have shown lower HU in patients with vertebral compression fractures (VCFs) and that HU can predict pre-existing VCFs. This study evaluated whether HU from CT scans can predict the number of prevalent VCFs.

Background: Adolescents and young adults (AYA) with cancer experience long-term consequences into survivorship that impact quality of life, including mental health symptoms, substance use, and persistent pain. Given the elevated rates of pain, AYA cancer survivors are at increased risk for opioid pain medication (OPM) exposure, increasing risk for opioid-related negative consequences, particularly for those with mental health symptoms. Minimal research has documented that a considerable proportion of AYAs with cancer receive OPM that continues into survivorship, yet the lack of consensus on the definition of problematic opioid use coupled with the high clinical need for OPM makes it particularly challenging to understand the impact of OPM use in this population.
