Basic methodological problems of recording the evoked electrical activity (EEA) are analysed in terms of its genesis. Further progress with non-invasive methods seems to be limited. The proposed technique provides an a priori "space-time" information due to measurement of several classes of the EEA and simultaneous stimulation of two subsystems of the CNS. The problems and possible ways of putting this methodology into practice, are discussed.
