Purpose: To compare the clinicopathologic features of the histologic and immunophenotypic subgroups of lymphocyte predominant Hodgkin's disease.

Methods And Materials: A retrospective review of 64 patients with lymphocyte predominant Hodgkin's disease treated at the Peter MacCallum Cancer Institute, Melbourne, was performed. Nodular and diffuse histological subtypes were confirmed by review of hematoxylin and eosin paraffin sections. Immunophenotyping with monoclonal antibodies L26 (B-cell origin) and Leu M1 (Hodgkin's phenotype) were available in 36 patients.

Results: The estimated freedom from progression and estimated overall survival at 10 years was 74% standard error (SE 5.8%) and 85% (SE 5.2%), non-Hodgkin's respectively. There were no significant differences in freedom from progression or overall survival when nodular and diffuse histology were compared. Similarly the presence of B-cell markers did not influence prognosis. There was only one case of secondary non-Hodgkin's lymphoma.

Conclusion: Our results are consistent with major reported series displaying no differences between any of the subgroups of lymphocyte predominant Hodgkin's disease.

Background: T/histiocyte-rich large B-cell lymphoma (T/HRBCL) is a highly aggressive subtype of diffuse large B-cell lymphoma characterized histologically by the presence of a few neoplastic large B cells amidst an abundant background of reactive T lymphocytes and/or histiocytes. T/HRBCL commonly affects the lymph nodes, followed by extranodal sites, such as the spleen, liver, and bone marrow, with rare occurrences in the gastrointestinal tract. Primary gastrointestinal T/HRBCL lacks specific clinical and endoscopic manifestations, and it is difficult to differentiate from inflammatory diseases, nodular lymphocyte predominant Hodgkin lymphoma, and other diseases on a histological basis, thereby hindering early diagnosis.

Background: Infiltrative hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) remains a therapeutic challenge due to its aggressive course and poor prognosis. Hepatic arterial infusion chemotherapy (HAIC) plus immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICIs) and molecular targeted therapies (MTTs) has shown early promise for advanced HCC, but its role in advanced infiltrative HCC is unclear. This study aims to investigate the efficacy and safety of HAIC combined with ICIs and MTTs in the treatment of advanced infiltrative HCC.

Introduction: We conducted a panoramic analysis of GBN5 expression and prognosis in 33 cancers, aiming to deepen the systematic understanding of GBN5 in cancer.

Materials And Methods: We employed a multi-omics approach, including transcriptomic, genomic, proteomic, single-cell cytomic, spatial transcriptomic, and genomic data, to explore the prognostic value and potential oncogenic mechanisms of GBN5 across pan-cancers from multiple perspectives.

Results: We found that GBN5 was differentially expressed in multiple tumors and showed early diagnostic value.

In approximately half of the recurrent spontaneous abortion (RSA) cases, the underlying cause is unknown. However, most unexplained miscarriages are thought to be linked to immune dysfunction. This review summarizes the current evidence regarding the immunological evaluations of patients with RSA, with potential implications for clinical research.

Recently a resurgence of has arisen, with concerns around the highly virulent M1 lineage. Our aim was to characterize , the immune responses it causes, and to determine the presence of the M1 lineage in Sofia, Bulgaria. In our study, the infections were confirmed by culture testing or rapid antigen test.
