After investigation of the international literature on this subject, the authors describe a case report of adhesive-stenotic and retractile peritonitis, very likely caused bt a foreign body reaction (surgical stitches, gloves, rice powder, etc.?). This case-report is interesting both to remember the existence of this pathology and to limit its iatrogenic development. In conclusion, it is advisable to wash surgical gloves with sterile solutions and to limit enlarged bowel resections mostly in young people.

Introduction: The Retzius-sparing technique for prostate cancer has shown favorable continence recovery outcomes. Magnetic resonance imaging after Retzius-sparing showed that the bladder anterior wall is widely connected to the abdominal wall, which contributes to urinary continence. We aimed to evaluate whether the Peritoneal Fixation technique, which involves suturing the anterior bladder wall onto the abdominal wall above the pubic bone, contributes to the recovery of urinary continence.

Epithelial ovarian cancer (EOC) exhibits a unique mode of metastasis, involving spheroid formation in the peritoneum. Our research on EOC spheroid cell biology has provided valuable insights into the signaling plasticity associated with metastasis. We speculate that EOC cells modify their biology between tumour and spheroid states during cancer dormancy, although the specific mechanisms underlying this transition remain unknown.

Background: Neurovascular coupling (NVC), as indicated by a comprehensive analysis of the amplitude of low-frequency fluctuation (ALFF) and cerebral blood flow (CBF), provides mechanistic insights into neurological disorders. Patients undergoing peritoneal dialysis (PD) and hemodialysis (HD) often face cognitive impairment, the causes of which are not fully understood.
Methods: ALFF was derived from functional magnetic resonance imaging, and CBF was quantified using arterial spin labeling in a cohort comprising 58 patients with PD, 60 patients with HD and 62 healthy controls.
