Percutaneous nephrolithotomy (PCNL) is a widely preferred method for treating complex kidney stones, particularly in patients with larger or more complicated stones. Despite its advantages, such as minimal invasiveness and a shorter recovery time, postoperative complications can occur, thereby necessitating effective risk assessment tools to identify at-risk patients. This study evaluated the Estimation of Physiologic Ability and Surgical Stress (E-PASS) scoring system's utility in predicting postoperative complications following standard PCNL.

Ventricular systolic dysfunction is the primary condition causing cardiogenic shock in STEMI. Studies have been widely conducted on the left ventricle (LV) and right ventricle (RV) systolic dysfunction related to mortality events.

The tubeless percutaneous nephrolithotomy (PCNL) is highly favored by endourological urologists for its advantages in patient experience and length of hospital stay. However, there is currently no guideline or consensus that precisely describes tubeless PCNL. This study explores tubeless PCNL from two aspects: patient selection and technical improvements.
