The osseous tear of extensor tendon is to be seen as a intraarticular fracture. The exact anatomical reduction is not only necessary for the reconstruction of extensor tendon but also for the recovery of the articular surface. The tension band wiring which is used in avulsion fractures of bigger joints is also the method of choice for the treatments of the osseous tear of extensor tendon. An accurate carrying out is very important. The result of six cases is reported.

Purpose: To evaluate the radiological and clinical outcomes in two patient groups: first, varus aligned medial meniscus posterior root tear (MMPRT) patients who underwent posteromedial open wedge high tibial osteotomy (PMOWHTO) and simultaneous root repair; second, patients with varus medial knee osteoarthritis without MMPRT who underwent PMOWHTO.

Methods: Patients had MMPRT repair concomitant with PMOWHTO and varus medial knee osteoarthritis without concomitant root tear patients who underwent PMOWHTO and were reviewed. Radiographic parameters, medial meniscus extrusion (MME) and Knee Society Scores [KSSs, including the following subscores: knee score (KS) and knee function score (KFS)] were evaluated.

Cervical fracture dislocation often leads to neurological deficits, manifesting with sensory and motor symptoms, which may persist even after surgical intervention. We presented two cases with mild neurological deficits following such injuries. In Case 1, the patient presented with left-hand numbness 1 month after a car accident.

Background: Rotator cuff repairs may fail because of compromised blood supply, suture anchor pullout, or poor fixation to bone. To augment the repairs and promote healing of the tears, orthobiologics, such a platelet-rich plasma (PRP), and biologic scaffolds have been applied with mixed results. Adipose allograft matrix (AAM), which recruits native cells to damaged tissues, may also be a potential treatment for rotator cuff tears.

Aim: This study aimed to evaluate the impact of a combination of immediate implant placement with maxillary sinus augmentation (MSA) solely using platelet-rich fibrin (PRF) on guided bone regeneration.

Materials And Methods: An interventional before-after (pre-post) study design was used with 30 dental patients (≥18 years of age; 14 males and 16 females) with initial bone heights ranging between 4 and 6 mm. Following the general check-up and the creation of a study model, the planned implant location demonstrated an external right maxilla diameter of more than 5 mm, thereby validating the cone-beam computed tomography (CBCT) radiograph.

Cranial cruciate ligament (CCL) disease causes variable stifle instability assessed by specific clinical tests. Radiographs are performed to measure the tibial plateau angle (TPA) for planning tibial plateau leveling osteotomy (TPLO) surgery. Concomitant damage to other intra-articular structures, for which clinical detection is unreliable, may occur and potentially affect the surgical outcome.
