Necrotising fasciitis (NF) is a rare surgical emergency characterised by soft tissue necrosis and systemic compromise. Typically it originates following adjacent skin and soft tissue insult; however, our unusual case required a high index of clinical suspicion to avert potential mortality. A man in his 60s with diabetes mellitus presented with 2 weeks of knee pain, swelling and necrotic skin on the posterior calf.

A unique case of papillary carcinoma of the thyroid with an extensive tumor thrombus extending into the right ventricle is presented. The patient was a known case of solid variant of papillary carcinoma of thyroid, post three cycles of radioiodine therapy, had reported for a diagnostic I-NaI scintigraphy as a part of the workup for planning the next I therapy. Clinically, the patient was asymptomatic.

Purpose: The prognosis of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) with extrahepatic metastases (EM) is poor. The efficacy and safety of transcatheter arterial chemoembolization combined with lenvatinib plus anti-programmed cell death 1 inhibitors (triple therapy) for HCC with EM remains unclear. In this study, we aimed to determine the efficacy and safety of triple therapy in HCC patients with EM.
