Hydrodynamic properties of hemagglutinin isolated with bromelain from influenza virus were studied. The sedimentation constant determined by the method of analytical ultracentrifugation was 9.17 +/- 0.17 S. The translation diffusion coefficient estimated by the method of optic mixing spectroscopy comprised (3.6 +/- 0.1) X 10(+7) cm2/s. A comination of both the constants in Svedberg's equation allowed calculation of the hemagglutinin molecular weight (approximately 230,000) which suggests a three-subunit structure of the molecule. The hydrodynamic diameter and friction ratio of an isolated molecule were calculated.

We investigated the temperature dependence of the intermolecular dynamics, including intermolecular vibrations and collective orientational relaxation, of one of the most typical deep eutectic solvents, reline, using femtosecond Raman-induced Kerr effect spectroscopy (fs-RIKES), subpicosecond optical Kerr effect spectroscopy (ps-OKES), and molecular dynamics (MD) simulations. According to fs-RIKES results, the temperature-dependent intermolecular vibrational band peak at ∼90 cm exhibited a redshift with increasing temperature. The density-of-state (DOS) spectrum of reline by MD simulations reproduced this fs-RIKES spectral feature.

This study investigates the synthesis of ZnSnO@SiO@5-FU nanoparticles as an additive for bone fillers in dental maxillofacial reconstruction. ZnSnO nanoparticles were synthesized and coated with a SiO shell, followed by the incorporation of 5-Fluorouracil (5-FU), aimed at enhancing the therapeutic properties of classical fillers. Structural analysis using X-ray diffraction confirmed that ZnSnO was the single crystalline phase present, with its crystallinity preserved after both SiO coating and 5-FU incorporation.
