A case of inversion of the uterus in a 14-year-old Xhosa girl is reported. The probable precipitating factor was a submucosal stromal sarcoma. The treatment of the condition is discussed.

Objective: To describe a rare case of a retroperitoneal Müllerian cyst in a teenage girl with a protruding uterus and associated urogenital anomalies, and to discuss the challenges faced in differential diagnosis and management of such cases.
Case Report: We present the case of a 14-year-old girl presented with a protruding uterus for several weeks, with a history of twin-twin transfusion syndrome at birth. Initial ultrasonography identified a large pelvic cystic tumor.

Maturity-onset diabetes of the young (MODY) is a clinically heterogeneous group of monogenic diabetes characterized by onset at a young age and an autosomal dominant mode of inheritance. Notably, MODY accounts for 2%-5% of all diabetes cases, and its distinction from types 1 (T1DM) and 2 (T2DM) diabetes mellitus is often challenging. We report herein the cases of two girls and a boy who presented initially with diabetic ketoacidosis.

This study represents the first documentation of the coexistence of complete androgen insensitivity syndrome (CAIS) with Müllerian duct remnants (MDRs) in mainland China. Additionally, we provide a comprehensive review of the existing literature concerning CAIS with MDRs resulting from gene mutations. This study broadens the clinical spectrum of CAIS and offer novel insights for further exploration into Müllerian duct regression.

Endometriosis is known to occur frequently in adolescents with obstructed Müllerian anomalies. Our cases emphasize that endometriosis can rapidly progress to a severe stage in obstructed hemivagina and ipsilateral renal anomaly syndrome, one of the completely obstructed Müllerian anomalies. The first patient was a 14-year-old girl who complained of cyclic abdominal pain.

Obstructed hemivagina and ipsilateral renal anomaly (OHVIRA) syndrome presents with complex diagnostic and therapeutic challenges and is characterized by uterine didelphys, obstructed hemivagina, and ipsilateral renal anomaly. A 14-year-old female with a history of anorectal malformation and urogenital sinus anomaly presented with menstrual blood in her urine, abdominal pain, and distension. Investigations revealed a bicornuate uterus, vesicovaginal fistula, and right ovarian cyst, leading to the diagnosis of OHVIRA syndrome.
