Purpose: The objective of this study was to explore the feasibility of using the TianJi Robot system for navigated needle positioning in the PCNL procedure in vitro.
Methods: A pig kidney with a segment of ureter was selected as the in vitro organ model. Iodine contrast agent was infused into the renal pelvis to dilate the renal pelvis and calyx to establish the in vitro hydronephrosis model.

Background: Understanding the determinants that limit the population's access to surgical care in health services is highly relevant in order to provide data to support political interventions.
Objective: This study aimed to evaluate the time between diagnosis and elective surgery in adult patients with the longest waiting lists in Brazil; identify the determinants that interfere with access to the health service to perform surgery; and analyze the quality of life after the indicative diagnosis of surgical intervention.
Methods: A cross-sectional study was conducted with adult patients treated at three hospitals in the Southeast, North and South regions of Brazil, from October 2020 to October 2022.

As food products, cannabis edibles (edibles), may also leverage food-related associations that convey health. Background: While antimicrobial use (AMU) in human healthcare has received significant attention as a key driver of antimicrobial resistance (AMR), less emphasis has been placed on AMU practices and attitudes in animal husbandry. To address this gap, this study examines the patterns and underlying drivers of AMU on animal farms.
Methods: A survey instrument was distributed to farm staff in 150 animal farms across 15 Egyptian governorates.
