Introduction: Dislocation of the acromioclavicular joint is a common injury, which is observed mainly in young adults; indications for surgical management and the most appropriate technique remain controversial.
Material And Methods: We present a surgical technique, whose objective is the anatomical reconstruction of the coracoclavicular ligaments with autologous semitendinous graft, without tunnels in the collarbone and without fixing devices.
Results: This technique is reliable for stabilizing the joint in the short term and we consider that it could neutralize the anteroposterior translation of the distal collarbone.

This article presents our surgical technique for reestablishing acromioclavicular stability after overzealous distal clavicular resection. Two cases are presented in which the clavicle of the affected acromioclavicular joint was unstable, causing pain with range of motion (ROM). To address the pathology, reconstruction of the coracoclavicular ligament and reattachment of the trapezius and deltoid to the clavicle were required.

Purpose: To determine whether increasing age is associated with increased radiological features of osteoarthritis of the acromioclavicular joint (ACJ) in a general population, and whether clinical symptoms correlate with radiological features.
Methods: Anteroposterior and axillary shoulder radiographs of 240 patients aged 20 to 80 years were randomly selected. The presence of stigmata of osteoarthritis of the ACJ including sclerosis, cysts, lysis, and osteophytes were recorded, and the width of the ACJ was measured.
