Introduction: Prescribable digital health applications (DiGAs) present scalable solutions to improve patient self-management in rheumatology, however real-world evidence is scarce. Therefore, we aimed to assess the effectiveness, usage, and usability of DiGAs prescribed by rheumatologists, as well as patient satisfaction.
Methods: The DiGAReal registry includes adult patients with rheumatic conditions who received a DiGA prescription.

Therefore, their results are often poorly comparable, making it difficult to anticipate potential points of conflict in practice. Purpose: This case series presents four cases of periprosthetic ulna fractures following Aptis distal radioulnar joint (DRUJ) arthroplasty to elucidate clinical characteristics, contributing factors, management challenges, and short-term outcomes following this rare complication and to propose prevention and optimal treatment strategies.
Methods: We conducted a retrospective review of 239 Aptis DRUJ prostheses implanted between 2012 and 2022 at a single institution. We identified four cases of periprosthetic ulna fractures and assessed demographics, surgical indications, time to fracture, mechanism of injury, radiographic findings, treatment modalities, associated complications, and outcomes.

Iron overload is a common complication in patients with transfusion-dependent-thalassemia that can lead to end-organ damage. Management of iron overload has considerably evolved since the early 2000s with the approval of oral iron chelators and widespread use of MRI monitoring. We conducted a retrospective cohort study of 144 patients with transfusion-dependent-thalassemia treated at a single center in the US and followed since initiation of regular transfusion therapy.
