Background: Despite the lack of clinically validated strategies for treating spinal cord injury (SCI), combining therapeutic strategies with rehabilitation is believed to promote recovery of motor function; however, current research findings are inconsistent.
Objectives: To explore whether combination therapy involving therapy and rehabilitative training (CIRT) has a synergistic effect on motor function recovery in animal models of SCI.
Methods: We conducted a systematic review and meta-analysis of studies identified in a keyword search of 6 databases and extracted open-field motor scores from the Basso Mouse Scale (BMS) and the Basso, Beattie, and Bresnahan Locomotor Rating Scale (BBB) for meta-analysis using a weighted mean difference (WMD) and 95 % CI.

Background: Recent findings have highlighted that abnormal energy metabolism is a key feature of autosomal-dominant polycystic kidney disease (ADPKD). Emerging evidence suggests that nutritional ketosis could offer therapeutic benefits, including potentially slowing or even reversing disease progression. This systematic review aims to synthesise the literature on ketogenic interventions to evaluate the impact in ADPKD.

Background: The personalized, free-breathing, heart rate-dependent computed tomography angiography (CTA) protocol can significantly reduce the utilization of contrast medium (CM). This proves especially beneficial for patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) undergoing coronary artery CTA examinations.
Objective: The aim of this study was to evaluate the feasibility of a personalized CT scanning protocol that was tailored to patients' heart rate and free-breathing for coronary CTA of patients with COPD.

Creative thinking involves the evaluation of one's ideas in order to select the best one, but the cognitive and neural mechanisms underlying this evaluation remain unclear. Using a combination of creativity and rating tasks, this study demonstrates that individuals attribute subjective values to their ideas, as a relative balance of their originality and adequacy. This relative balance depends on individual preferences and predicts individuals' creative abilities.
