Objective: The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between () infection-induced changes in gastric mucosal immune cells and glandular epithelial cell damage and the histopathological characteristics of these changes.
Methods: We performed a detailed histomorphometry and immunohistochemical analysis of a total of 1635 -infected gastric mucosal specimens.
Results: Stage-wise features were as follows: Early stage of infection: was colonized in the mucous layer, and very few neutrophils were visible in the layer.

The purpose of this protocol is to visualize intranuclear actin rods that assemble in live Drosophila melanogaster embryos following heat stress. Actin rods are a hallmark of a conserved, inducible Actin Stress Response (ASR) that accompanies human pathologies, including neurodegenerative disease. Previously, we showed that the ASR contributes to morphogenesis failures and reduced viability of developing embryos.

Unlabelled: PML nuclear bodies (NBs) are accumulations of cellular proteins embedded in a scaffold-like structure built by SUMO-modified PML/TRIM19. PML and other NB proteins act as cellular restriction factors against human cytomegalovirus (HCMV); however, this intrinsic defense is counteracted by the immediate early protein 1 (IE1) of HCMV. IE1 directly interacts with the PML coiled-coil domain via its globular core region and disrupts NB foci by inducing a loss of PML SUMOylation.
