Inguinal endometriosis is a less common form of endometriosis. Therefore, there is no consensus regarding its pathogenesis or treatment. In this study, we retrospectively reviewed the pathogenesis and treatment of six cases of inguinal endometriosis in our facility between 2009 and 2019.

Laryngeal squamous cell carcinoma (LSCC) is the most common malignant head and neck cancer, with a 40% recurrence rate in the first 3 years after radical treatment. Recurrence of LSCC mostly comprises lymphogenous metastasis, hematogenic metastasis, and locoregional recurrence, while LSCC seeding is rarest: there are only 4 cases reported in PubMed, and none of them is one of subcutaneous seeding. We report a case with post-surgery subcutaneous seeding of LSCC.

Reports indicate that most metastatic ovarian cancer (MOC) originates from gastrointestinal cancer (GIC). Notably, GICs metastasize to the ovary frequently 3 main routes including hematogenous spread, lymphogenous spread, and transcoelomic spread. Nonetheless, the mechanism of the progression remains unknown, and only a handful of literature exists on the molecular alteration implicated in MOC from GIC.

Local tumour sites lead to pathological angiogenesis and lymphangiogenesis due to malignant conditions such as hypoxia. Although VEGF and VEGFR are considered to be the main anti-tumour treatment targets, the problems of limited efficacy and observable side effects of some drugs relevant to this target still remain to be solved. Therefore, it is necessary to identify new therapeutic targets for angiogenesis or lymphangiogenesis.
