Objectives: Accurate assessment of sleep quality is crucial for understanding sleep problems and their impact on health. This study analyzed the agreement between subjective sleep assessments and objective sleep monitoring in adolescents with mood disorders, aiming to provide a reliable methodological foundation for related research.
Methods: Adolescents with mood disorders were recruited from psychiatric outpatient clinics of three domestic hospitals.

Dual-harm, the co-occurrence of self- and other-harm, recognizes the overlap between these outcomes of aggressive behavior and their potential shared causes. Little progress has been made in preventing and responding to dual-harm in the broader population, and it remains understudied in public health research. We posit that the scientific investigation of dual-harm would greatly benefit from the application of public health principles and methods.

Despite being a common, well-recognized and important complication to External Ventricular Drainage (EVD), a consensus definition for Ventriculostomy Related Infections (VRI) has not yet been established. We conducted a review to qualitatively assess definition heterogeneity and objectivity among Randomized Controlled Trials (RCTs); and investigated systematic reviews, meta-analyses, and reviews of the literature for definition citation accuracy and common methodological approaches and points of discussion related to VRI definitions. RCTs were grouped into arbitrarily chosen infection rate brackets to examine the hypothesized correlation between broader definitions and higher infection rates in RCTs.

We study generalization of intervention effects across several simulated and real-world samples. We start by formulating the concept of the 'background' of a sample effect observation. We then formulate conditions for effect generalization based on a sample's set of (observed and unobserved) backgrounds.

Background: To explore the breastfeeding status of mothers with children aged 0-2 years after the major earthquake disaster in Kahramanmaraş, to reveal the obstacles to the sustainability of breastfeeding, and to reveal the problems and experiences they have in breastfeeding, preparing formula, and feeding their infants.
Methods: This study used a qualitative, exploratory research design with a phenomenological approach. Data were collected between September and November 2023 by face-to-face interviews using a Personal Information Form and a semi-structured interview form.
