Hydrogel-based sensors have been widely studied for perceiving the environment. However, the simplest type of resistive sensors still lacks sensitivity to localized strain and other extractable data. Enhancing their sensitivity and expanding their functionality to perceive multiple stimuli simultaneously are highly beneficial yet require optimal material design and proper testing methods.

This study investigates the relation and Granger causality among inflation, fiscal expenditure, energy consumption, economic growth, energy efficiency, renewable energy consumption, and environmental pollution in the G7 countries utilizing the PLSTRVAR model for 1975-2022. Our findings highlight the results that inflation and fiscal expenditure have impact on environmental pollution across different regimes. On the other hand, unlike some studies in the literature, it emphasizes that renewable energy consumption may have pollution-increasing effects on environmental pollution.

The observation of spin-dependent transmission of electrons through chiral molecules has led to the discovery of chiral-induced spin selectivity (CISS). The remarkably high efficiency of the spin polarizing effect has recently gained substantial interest due to the high potential for future sustainable hybrid chiral molecule magnetic applications. However, the fundamental mechanisms underlying the chiral-induced phenomena remain to be understood fully.

The effects of plastic pollution on marine organisms is of growing concern. The hydrophobic surface of plastics adsorbs organic contaminants and can alter the rate of chemical uptake in fishes. Per-fluorinated organic chemicals such as Perfluorooctanoic acid (PFOA) are highly hydrophobic toxic chemicals that adsorb to hydrophobic surfaces.

Graph theory has been widely used to quantitatively analyze complex networks of molecules, materials, and cells. Analyzing the dynamic complex structure of extracellular matrix can predict cell-material interactions but has not yet been demonstrated. In this study, graph theory-based mathematical modeling of RGD ligand graph inter-relation is demonstrated by differentially cutting off RGD-to-RGD interlinkages with flexibly conjugated magnetic nanobars (MNBs) with tunable aspect ratio.
