Tests of the functional state of the liver and indices of the immuno-biological reactivity were studied in 193 patients with complicated forms of the ulcerous disease. The intravital morphological investigation of the liver and gastric mucosa tissues was performed. The correlative relations between the character of changes in the stomach and liver and processes of autoallergy were detected. The comparison of different parameters enabled most informative indices to be revealed.

Non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) is a most common chronic disease with a rapid growing incidence worldwide, presenting as an ever-increasing burden to the healthcare system. In this study, we explored that Cremastraappendiculata, a valuable traditional medicine in China, could alleviate lipid accumulation in HepG2 cells. Polysaccharide (CAP) was extracted from the pseudobulbs of C.

Purpose: Sex hormones affect development and prognosis of gastric cancer (GC). This study aimed to compare the sex hormone receptor expression between control and GC, and to evaluate its correlation with patient characteristics.

Materials And Methods: 110 patients (74 with GC, 36 controls) underwent immunohistochemistry (IHC) and reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) for estrogen receptors (ERs) α and β and androgen receptor (AR).

Gastric varices (GVs) are dilated veins in the stomach submucosa, typically caused by portal hypertension. A prompt diagnosis is needed, given the significant risk of bleeding and mortality. Endoscopic cyanoacrylate injections are widely adopted for treating GV due to their efficacy in preventing rebleeding with lower complication rates.

The fate of butyrospermol in camellia oil: Absorption and mechanism analysis.

Food Chem

January 2025

Shaanxi Union Research Center of University and Enterprise for Functional Oil Engineering Technology, College of Food Science and Engineering, Northwest A&F University, 22 Xinong Road, Yangling 712100, Shaanxi, PR China. Electronic address:

Butyrospermol, a minor yet important compound in camellia oil, has anti-inflammatory effects. However, its absorption, elimination, and the influence of oil on its bioavailability remain unclear. This study investigated the logP, stability in simulated digestive fluids and liver tissue, absorption parameters of different forms of butyrospermol, and binding of butyrospermol to the Niemann-Pick C1-like 1-N-terminal domain (NPC1L1-NTD).
