Background: Self-care, a process of maintaining health through health-promoting practices and managing illness, is pivotal for the management of type 2 diabetes. This study aimed to explore the self-care level and investigate its socio-demographic and clinical determinants among Chinese adults with type 2 diabetes.
Methods: In this multicenter cross-sectional study, we enrolled 495 Chinese adults with type 2 diabetes from the outpatient departments of three tertiary hospitals in Zhejiang province, China.

Design: The study is a prospective, double-blinded randomised control trial that compares the mineral trioxide aggregate (MTA) and Biodentine as the pulp space barrier material after induction of a periapical blood clot by over-instrumentation for endodontic regeneration in single-rooted mature permanent anterior tooth (closed apex) with apical periodontitis (periapical pathology of more than 3 mm) and having necrosed pulp. A total of 36 patients were included in the study and after randomisation were allocated equally to both the groups out of which 31 patients returned for follow-up over an 18-month period. The treatment protocol consisted of two separate appointments.

Objective: Obesity is known to be associated with inflammation and impaired sleep quality. In addition, the anti-inflammatory properties of the daily diet provide positive effects on health. The aim of this study was to investigate the relationship between the inflammatory index of the diet consumed by people with obesity and inflammatory biomarkers and sleep quality.

Background: The prevalence of antibiotic prescribing among total prescriptions, the percentage of combined antibiotic prescribing among prescriptions containing at least one antibiotic, and factors influencing hospital antibiotic prescribing are currently unknown. In this systematic review, we aimed to summarise antibiotic prescribing in hospitals worldwide and identify the associated factors.
Methods: We searched PubMed/MEDLINE, Ovid/Embase, and the Web of Science for articles published between 1 January 2000 and 28 February 2023 that reported antibiotic prescribing in hospitals or the associated factors.
