The indices of non-specific resistance and immunity were studied in 171 children with chronic hematogenic osteomyelitis. It was established that the postoperative period was more favourable in children who had received the whole course of immune therapy with staphylococcal anatoxin and prodigiozan before the operation. The operation was performed after the indices of anti-infection defense had become normal.
