Information on the functional condition of external respiration in 101 patients with angiographically demonstrated coronary sclerosis is analysed. Definite connections between the findings of coronarography and the values of external respiration were found, which were indicative of increase in the ratio of the residual pulmonary volume to the total pulmonary capacity and of a relative hyperventilation of the lungs in the contingent examined. The discrepancy between ventilation of the lungs and their perfusion was more marked in patients with a greater number of stenosed coronary arteries. Shortening of the absolute values and the absence of an increase in the duration of repeated apnoea were evidence of insufficient resistance to hypercapnia and hypoxia during apnoea.

Background Cardiopulmonary arrest is a leading cause of death and requires swift intervention for survival. Previous studies have highlighted the critical importance of initiating cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and defibrillation within a limited timeframe. Improving outcomes depends on widespread CPR training, accessible automated external defibrillators (AEDs), and increased public awareness.

Introduction: Propofol is a widely used sedative-hypnotic agent for critically ill patients requiring invasive mechanical ventilation (IMV). Despite its clinical benefits, propofol is associated with increased risks of hypertriglyceridemia. Early identification of patients at risk for propofol-associated hypertriglyceridemia is crucial for optimising sedation strategies and preventing adverse outcomes.

Cadmium (Cd) is a heavy metal that is a major hazardous environmental contaminant, ubiquitously present in the environment. Cd exposure has been closely associated with an increased prevalence and severity of neurological and cardiovascular diseases (CVD). The blood-brain barrier (BBB) plays a crucial role in protecting the brain from external environmental factors.

This study proposes a real-time tumor position prediction-based multi-dimensional respiratory motion compensation puncture method to accurately track real-time lung tumors and achieve precise needle puncture.A hybrid model framework integrating prediction and correlation models is developed to enable real-time tumor localization. A Long Short-Term Memory neural network with bidirectional and attention modules (Bi-LSTM-ATT) is employed for predicting external respiratory signals.
