In mouse, the administration of chemical protectors before an irradiation induces a more rapid bone marrow regeneration and an increased lymphoid rebound. In the thymus, the late atrophy is reduced. Separately administrated, the protectors decrease greatly the thymocytes number but have no effect on the marrow population.

This narrative review describes the provenance and chemical composition of Vitex agnus-castus, as well as the currently available knowledge concerning its action. To search the related articles, Cochrane Library, PubMed, Web of Science, SCOPUS databases between the years 1995 and 2024, and the keywords "Vitex," "review," "fertility," "ovarian" and "mechanisms" were used in various combinations. The data listed in this review demonstrate that Vitex agnus-castus and its constituents (isoflavones and essential oils) affect a number of physiological actions via multiple extra- and intracellular mechanisms of action.

Targeted drugs have revolutionized the treatment of advanced non‑small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). However, the understanding of how cardiac comorbidity and toxicity affect the clinical outcomes of patients following targeted therapy remains limited. In a 14‑year cohort, cardiac comorbidities and toxicities among patients with stage‑IV NSCLC treated with targeted therapy were identified.

Renewable materials derived from lignocellulose are promising materials for different practical applications, including biomedical, food, and agricultural fields. However, the poor mechanical performance and wet stability restrict their applications. Herein, we fabricated PVA/lignocellulose/PBAT (PVA/CLM/PBAT) composite with a "sandwich" structure.

This study investigated the anxiolytic, anticonvulsant and memory preservation effects of the flavonoid robinin. The compound, administered at doses of 4, 20 and 40 mg/kg, did not show toxicity after 96 h of monitoring. In behavioural experiments with zebrafish, robinin did not cause significant changes in motor functions, but it impairs locomotor activity and demonstrates anxiolytic properties, evidenced by the increase in the time spent in the clean zone of the protector.
