Purpose: To calculate the crystalline lens power and astigmatism, as well as their changes following cycloplegia, in individuals with myopia using swept-source optical coherence tomography (SS-OCT).
Methods: Participants were divided into two groups according to axial length (AL). Crystalline lens parameters, including power, lens thickness (LT), anterior chamber depth (ACD), and astigmatism, were measured with SS-OCT and analysed before and after cycloplegia.

The solvent effect on the indirect J(M-P) spin-spin coupling constant in phosphine selenoether -substituted acenaphthene complexes LMCl is studied at the PP86 level of nonrelativistic and four-component relativistic density functional theory. Depending on the metal, the solvent effect can amount to as much as 50% or more of the total -value. This explains the previously found disagreement between the J(Hg-P) coupling in LHgCl, observed experimentally and calculated without considering solvent effects.

Unlike traditional passive optical remote sensing methods, ICESat-2 offers detailed vertical structure mapping of oceanic optical properties. Despite the potential of ICESat-2 for observing the optical vertical structure, its application in the East China Sea with complex hydrological conditions and dynamic ecosystems remains limited.

Traditional techniques like interferometry and holography often rely on phase stability and coherence, making them susceptible to noise and limiting their effectiveness in low-light conditions. We propose a time-of-flight (ToF) widefield microscopy technique that uses pseudo-thermal light.

Our team has proposed CSI technology with the detection light transparent to the sample to measure the surface topography thus ensuring the numerical aperture of the detection light with high throughput. However, a dedicated optical path to monitor the aberrations caused by the modulation from the sample is necessary and a complex optical path is added for aberration correction, which inevitably increases the design complexity and component costs of the optical system.
