In 1976 the National Commission on Diabetes recommended the establishment of a diabetes information and education clearinghouse on a national level. This undertaking was initiated by the Director, National Institute of Arthritis, Metabolism, and Digestive Diseases, National Institutes of Health, and plans were developed in 1977. Printed diabetes materials for patients, professionals, and the public are being gathered and will be annotated and then published as subject bibliographies. In addition, The Diabetes Clearinghouse will coordinate and encourage diabetes-related education and information activities and efforts throughout the United States.

Methods: We searched the JBI, Up To Date, BMJ, National Guideline Clearinghouse (NGC), National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE), Scottish Intercollegiate Guidelines Network (SIGN), Cochrane library, PubMed, Guideline International Network (GIN), AORN Journal, and other databases using the pyramid "6S" model for guidelines, expert consensus, systematic reviews, evidence summaries, decisions, recommended practices, and technical reports on wet pack management.

Background: Perinatal substance use can have significant adverse effects on maternal and child health and family stability. Few interventions are specifically designed to address this significant public health problem. The Parent-Child Assistance Program (PCAP) is a 3-year case management and home-visiting intervention that seeks to help birthing persons with at-risk substance use during pregnancy to achieve and maintain substance use disorder recovery and avoid exposing future children to substances prenatally.

Background: Gastroschisis is a serious birth defect with midgut prolapse into the amniotic cavity. The objectives of this study were to evaluate the prevalence and time trends of gastroschisis among programs in the International Clearinghouse for Birth Defects Surveillance and Research (ICBDSR), focusing on regional variations and maternal age changes in the population.
Methods: We analyzed data on births from 1980 to 2017 from 27 ICBDSR member programs, representing 24 countries and three regions (Europe , Latin America, North America).

Objectives: Australia's migration programs mean that an increasing number of people living in residential aged care (RAC) were born in a non-main English-speaking country (NMESC) and have a preferred language other than English (LOTE). This study describes the number of such residents in aged care facilities in Australia and discusses the implications for their care.
Methods: This study presents a secondary analysis of the Australian Institute of Health and Welfare (AIHW) National Aged Care Data Clearinghouse 2020-2021 to examine the country of birth and preferred language of people living in RAC in each state and territory and the number of residents who are lone speakers of their language in their facility.
