Excessive utilization of chemical fertilizers degrades the quality of medicinal plants and soil. Bio-organic fertilizers (BOFs) including microbial inoculants and microalgae have garnered considerable attention as potential substitutes for chemical fertilizer to enhance yield. In this study, a field experiment was conducted to investigate the effects of BOF partially substituting chemical fertilizer on the growth and quality of medicinal plant .

A co-signaling receptor, 2B4, has dual effects in immune cells, but its actual functions in T cells remain elusive. Here, using super-resolution imaging technology with an immunological synapse model, we showed that 2B4 forms "2B4 microclusters" immediately after 2B4-CD48 binding. A lipid phosphatase, SHIP-1, subsequently combined with 2B4 to form coinhibitory signalosomes, leading to the suppression of cytokine production.

The excessive use of fluoride in fibrous membranes poses significant bioaccumulative threats to the environment and human health. However, most existing membranes used in protective clothing and desalination systems show high fluorine dependence and inevitable trade-offs between liquid repellency and breathability. Herein, fluorine-free bonded scaffolded nanofiber/network membranes are developed using the electro-coating-netting technique to achieve high-performance liquid-repellency and breathability.

Background: Diabetic foot ulcers (DFU) are severe complications of diabetes, posing significant health and societal challenges. Accumulation of reactive oxygen species (ROS) and elevated glucose levels are primary factors affecting diabetic wound healing. Achieving effective treatment by reducing ROS alone is challenging, as high glucose levels continuously drive ROS production.
