Although academic work on conspiracy theory has taken off in the last two decades, both in other disciplines as well as in epistemology, the similarities between global sceptical scenarios and global conspiracy theories have not been the focus of attention. The main reason for this lacuna probably stems from the fact that most philosophers take radical scepticism very seriously, while, for the most part, regarding 'conspiracy thinking' as epistemically defective. Defenders of conspiracy theory, on the other hand, tend not to be that interested in undermining radical scepticism, since their primary goal is to save conspiracy theories from the charges of irrationality.

Lupus erythematosus (LE) is a heterogeneous, antibody-mediated autoimmune disease. Isolate discoid LE (IDLE) and systematic LE (SLE) are traditionally regarded as the two ends of the spectrum, ranging from skin-limited damage to life-threatening multi-organ involvement. Both belong to LE, but IDLE and SLE differ in appearance of skin lesions, autoantibody panels, pathological changes, treatments, and immunopathogenesis.

Aims: To explore attitudes and experiences of ED clinicians around PIVC insertion and care processes.
Methods: This study used an exploratory qualitative approach to analyse written responses to open-ended questions included in an online national (mixed data) survey.

Malignant cancer angiogenesis has historically attracted enormous scientific attention. Although angiogenesis is requisite for a child's development and conducive to tissue homeostasis, it is deleterious when cancer lurks. Today, anti-angiogenic biomolecular receptor tyrosine kinase inhibitors (RTKIs) to target angiogenesis have been prolific in treating various carcinomas.
