: the mandibular foramen is an essential anatomic landmark in performing various dental and surgical procedures, including inferior alveolar nerve block (IANB). However, its position may vary based on the individual morpho-functional features of the skull and face. This study aims to conduct a personalized assessment of the location of the mandibular foramen in various shapes of skulls, faces, and mandibles.

Osteogenesis imperfecta (OI) is a rare genetic disorder affecting mainly type I collagen, which leads to bone fragility and deformities. OI patients also present craniofacial abnormalities such as macrocephaly and malocclusion. Recently, craniofacial dysmorphism was highlighted in the osteogenesis imperfecta mouse (oim), a validated model of the most severe form of OI.

Objective: This study reports the authors' experience with surgical interventions for nonsyndromic craniosynostosis. They assessed open surgery and minimally invasive endoscopic suturectomy in terms of periprocedural outcomes and related risk factors for postoperative complications and reoperation. This study aimed to provide insights toward surgical approach decisions and lay the groundwork for future prospective studies in this field.

Purpose: This study utilized cone-beam computed tomography images to assess the potential of maxillary sinus (MS) and piriform aperture (PA) measurements in sex prediction and to identify possible correlations between these structures and the MS ostium.
Methods: A total of 204 images were selected and divided into two groups: 102 for constructing and testing the formula, and 102 for validation. In each subgroup, the images were equally divided for 11 measurements by two examiners in the MS (height, width, length, and total width), PA (height and width), and maxillary ostium diameter.

Background: This study aimed to determine the differences in cranial measurements in three sub-adult populations in Malaysia using multi-slice computed tomography (MSCT) data.
Materials And Methods: A total of 521 cranial MSCT datasets of Malaysian sub-adults (0-20 years old) consisting of Malay, Chinese, and Indian populations were analysed and constructed into three-dimensional (3D) cranial models using Mimics software version 21. Fourteen selected craniometric parameters were measured on the 3D models, adhering to the plane-to-plane protocol.
